I have recently heard about VeganCuts. What a cool site it is. They have monthly beauty and snack subscriptions and then seasonal boxes and I don't have to worry about what is in them ... all vegan and sustainably produced. Makes me happy. I heard about the Winter Fashion Box and wanted to give it a try for $35. You can also just purchase cool, fun vegan fashion, cosmetics, and snacks direct from the website.
Here is how the website describes it: Turn some heads this season with our limited edition Winter Fashion Box inspired by the chilly winter season. Inside you'll find a Pura Botanica carry-all pouch, stylish Vegan Yogi Unicorn scarf, darling animal charm bracelet by The Hungry Elephant and a bottle of chic nail lacquer. These key pieces are exactly what you need to add a little cruelty-free style to your look for the winter season and beyond.
I was actually really looking forward to receiving the box and guess I hadn't really thought about the number of items because I was surprised how small the box is. But, good things come in small packages. As soon as I opened it, it sort of expanded as the scarf had room to breathe.
Vegan Yogi Unicorn Ahimsa Linen Scarf in a surprise color: My color was a vibrant lime green. It is light and bright. Perfect for spring. I am trying to expand my color palate from mostly black, so this will be a nice way to do it. An accessory that doesn't commit me to too much at once.
Hungry Elephant Tails of Kindness Bracelet: This is the philosophy of the Hungry Elephant: Our charms of compassion embody a plant-based lifestyle aiming to harm none and to spread kindness throughout the world. This is a delicate charm in 14 carat gold plate. I'm liking the elephant theme as it goes along with the logo for my favorite vegan cook and the idea that "every tail has a story;" I don't wear bracelets often, but this is delicate enough that it might not feel so in the way and heavy.
Adorn Polish in gold or pink OR JRJ Polish in coral red: I was happy to receive Adorn polish in Vive La Coquette. I like it. It's kind of a cotton candy color and goes on well. It will be a great spring/summer vacation polish color. Adorn is a small company in California. I checked out the website and was impressed with the colors. All vegan. All cruelty-free. And never contain toulene, DBP, formaldehyde or formaldehyde resin.
Pura Botanica Essentials Pouch: I like pouches for organizing my purse or make-up when I travel. I really like the ostrich-leather look of this pouch and the soft feel. It will be in my purse right away.
This cute card was a bonus added to the box that I wasn't expecting. Isn't it cute? Will make a nice holiday card next year.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I will use everything.
