Wantable Intimates November 2015

Wantable has 5 subscriptions: an Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, Make-up box and their Fitness wear and Style box (try on at home and keep what you want). For the Accessory, Intimate, and Make-up, the cost is $50 the first month and then a $4 discount subsequent months if you keep everything. You can return individual items, though, so it's not a keep all or none sort of thing. When you sign up, you set up a style profile an select things you love, like, and dislike. They will never send something you dislike. Each box is selected for you, so my box will be different from everyone else's box. And, you can return if you want. That's a bonus most boxes don't allow. Aaaannnddd .... you always have the option to skip a month when you just need to take some time off. I chose the Intimates box. Assortment of undergarments, socks, loungewear, etc.

The Intimates box now has "themes" of loungewear or lingerie. I'm a loungewear person, so I said I prefer that. I didn't "dislike" lingerie, so I may also receive that on occasion. You can expect three items each month.

One of the things that impresses me most about Wantable is how quickly they ship. My style profile says that I love Loungewear, Leggings, and Socks. I have reviewed on their site each item I've received and they seem to do a better job selecting my items each time.

Once again, my box arrived exactly on time and I had selected loungewear as a theme I love, more than Lingerie.

I received a Long Sleeve Sweatshirt Dress. This is actually a really comfortable tunic with a hood in a soft brushed fabric. I will be able to wear it easily with leggings, like the one's I received last month. I might even wear it out of the house, but it will definitely be great for kicking back after work when I change out of my uniform and want to veg out on the couch with a martini. Retail $36. My price to keep $19.20

Over the Knee Bootsocks: Yes, please. I love long socks and it's boot weather. These are nice basic black so go with everything, but with a little sparkle to add a little interest. Retail $18. My price to keep $9.60

Pajama Drama Racerback Tank Teal: I have a cute pair of cropped pajama pants from a previous box that match this. And, it has a nice flow. It will go well for pajamas or under a sweater. Retail $21. My price to keep $11.20

So, what do I think. I like it, but it's not the same homerun from previous boxes. I really liked when the box had a few more items, but it seems that along with the price increase, they have also reduced to 3 items per box. Maybe a higher value for each item. Total retail $75, so not bad for $50 and even better for $36 since they are not changing the price for past subscribers who keep active accounts.  I am keeping everything and it will find use, so overall, I can't complain.

Wantable Intimates October 2015

Wantable has 5 subscriptions: an Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, Make-up box and their Fitness wear and Style box (try on at home and keep what you want). For the Accessory, Intimate, and Make-up, the cost is $40 the first month and then a 10% discount subsequent months if you keep everything. Should be 3-4 items per box depending on value of items.

One of the things that impresses me most about Wantable is how quickly they ship. My style profile says that I love Loungewear, Leggings, and Socks. I have reviewed on their site each item I've received and they seem to do a better job selecting my items each time.

I can always count on my Wantable box to be shipped and received on the first of the month. Precisely on September 24, I received email notification that my collection was being prepared. Promptly on October 1, my colection arrived. I didn't receive a special note in this collection, either, but the box was full of value.

First in by box was Lucky Brand 3-Pack of socks: Of course, I like socks. I also liike multi-packs so I can mis-match my socks, while matching of course. I really wish I had more reasons to wear cute socks. Why do I like socks so much?  Anyway, I like the no-show socks, but I am really hoping for more knee-high socks in the future. Retail $16. My price to keep $6.81.

Next up, Betsey Johnson Rib Knit Slip: This pretty cobalt blue slip is very soft and I love the color. It is a rib knit and a little form fitting. I don't see myself wearing this as a slip under a dress, but it is great for lounging and for sleeping. I would wear shorts or tights with it for coverage. I really like the delicate round and slightly ruffled bottom and especially like the racerback straps. Retail $38. My price to keep $16.17
It's getting into colder weather, so Lucky Brand Aztec Diamond Seamless Leggings were a nice addition. These are very soft and the neutral color is great. I will get great use out of these with a long sweater or layes with jacket and boots. I can also just lounge at home in these very comfortably. Retail $24. My price to keep $10.21

And finally, Rene Rofe Scandal Hipster: Very scandalous indeed. Mesh and lace with a cotton gusset. I am getting used to the lacy and delicate and barely there undies that I'm receiving in the boxes. I am usually a cotton girl. I'm still a cotton girl, so I'm on the fence. Maybe a little change up sometimes is good? Retail $16. My price to keep $10.21

So, what do I think? I'm happy with the selection and the value. I paid $36 and the retail value of the collection is $94

Wantable is changing up how they do things starting in November. Current subscribers pricing will remain the same as long as you remain active, but new subscriber rate for this collection will be $50. They will also be curating the collection according to suites of loungewear and lingerie for coordination. I like that idea. They will also add additional size ranges from XS to 3XL. I received and email that sent the details, but the website does not reflect the change.

Wantable Intimates September 2015

Wantable has 5 subscriptions: an Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, Make-up box and their Fitness wear and Style box (try on at home and keep what you want). For the Accessory, Intimate, and Make-up, the cost is $40 the first month and then a 10% discount subsequent months if you keep everything. Should be 3-4 items per box depending on value of items.

One of the things that impresses me most about Wantable is how quickly they ship. My August Intimate box arrived exactly on August 1. My style profile says that I love Loungewear, Leggings, and Socks. I have reviewed on their site each item I've received and they seem to do a better job selecting my items each time.

Before I start my review, I want to say "thanks" to someone who used my link and placed their first order. That scored me $10 off this box. And, I didn't even think anyone read my reviews, so thanks also for reading.

I can always count on my Wantable box to be shipped and received on the first of the month. September was no different. Precisely on September 1, my box arrived. I didn't have a special note this month. Probably because I've been so slow to review ... either here, and on the website, where I review and give feedback on items received.

Happy Socks Ladies Brief: I am pretty casual, so sexy undies are a rare occasion, but comfortable cotton briefs that have a cute pattern will be worn all the time. Retail $12. My price $7.38
Adrienne Vittadini Low Cut Sock: This was a six-pack of socks!!! I love having fun colors. These will hide nicely under clogs and I can mix-match to have mismatched pairs. They are also very soft and will quickly make it into rotation. Retail $21. My price $12.92
And finally: Spring Fling Bottom and Top in Aruba Blue. I think by now the stylists have learned I love loungewear. A LOT. After a day in uniform, I am quick to change into something comfortable to hang out in and these are so much cuter than grubby sweats and t-shirt. I love the feminine detailing with the peephole shoulders and the sweet little bows. The order details say they are perfect for spring, and we are nearing autumn. Yeah, the color is springlike, but I am not going to refuse to wear them just because of the season. Retail $16 each. My price $9.85 each.

Final thoughts? I'm happy with this month's selection. I am getting happier and happier. I do have a lot of loungewear now. But, it's getting into colder seasons, so I wonder if I'll be getting leggings and tights in the coming months. Retail value $65. My price (with credits) $26.

Wantable Intimates August 2015

Wantable has 5 subscriptions: an Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, Make-up box and their Fitness wear and Style box (try on at home and keep what you want). For the Accessory, Intimate, and Make-up, the cost is $40 the first month and then a 10% discount subsequent months if you keep everything. Aaaannnddd .... you always have the option to skip a month when you just need to take some time off. I chose the Intimates box. Assortment of undergarments, socks, loungewear, etc.

So ... onto the box. Usually I get about 3 items. This month, I got a little note that my stylist (Kathryn) added an extra item to ensure I was receiving the full value of the collection. Thanks Kathryn, and yes, I enjoyed it.
First up ... and it's a little racy ... Daisy Fuentes Lace Hipster in Mint. This it really lacey and really kind of skimpy. I'm surprised at the comfort factor though. It also has some sexy detailing in the back. I'm a little bit blushing. The Musician doesn't seem to mind this item. Retail $9.00. My price $5.81.
Next two items, I actually like together.

Drama Rama Raw Edge Shorts: These are short, cute, comfortable with a drawstring. The picture looks black and tan, but they are really a very dark navy. Retail $16. My price $10.32

Pajama Drama Raw Edge Tank: Also comfortable. I'm getting into the racerback tanks. This tank is a little longer in the back, which is nice and the tan stripes pair well with the polka-dots in the shorts. I like mixing patterns. Retail $16. My price $10.32

And the final item: Pajama Dram Cami with Lace: This is a really soft cami with a dainty lace detail. I can wear it to peak out a low cut v-neck or lounging with some of the lounge pants I have received from Wantable. Retail $21. My price $13.35

So ... my thoughts? Seems that the collection gets better with each box. I do go to the site to review the items, so I believe they look at that and it helps my stylist. So ... yeah, I will keep it all. Save 10% ($4) on my next order. Total retail value $62.

Wantable Intimates July 2015

Wantable has 5 subscriptions: an Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, Make-up box and their Fitness wear and Style box (try on at home and keep what you want). For the Accessory, Intimate, and Make-up, the cost is $40 the first month and then a 10% discount subsequent months if you keep everything. You can return individual items, though, so it's not a keep all or none sort of thing. When you sign up, you set up a style profile an select things you love, like, and dislike. Aaaannnddd .... you always have the option to skip a month when you just need to take some time off. I chose the Intimates box. Assortment of undergarments, socks, loungewear, etc. Should be 3-4 items per box depending on value of items.

One of the things that impresses me most about Wantable is how quickly they ship. My July Intimate box arrived exactly on July 1. My style profile says that I love Loungewear, Leggings, and Socks. I have reviewed on their site each item I've received and they seem to do a better job selecting my items each time. I also appreciated a friendly note included with my package. It seems personal like they have read my reviews.

So ... onto the box

Rene Rofe Spring Print Chemise and Robe. I have been really a lounge pants and tank kind of girl, but the chemise and robe in this box made me feel really kind of pretty for lounging. Soft. Comfortable. Both size small and felt true to size. I have gotten a lot of wear of of this already. Retail $22 for Chemise and $36 for Robe. My cost to keep? $12.39 for Chemise and $20.28 for Robe.
Ozone Big Dot Socks. OK, who doesn't like cute socks. I like the big black and white bold dots print. I can wear it with almost any pants. The socks are also pretty soft inside. So, yeah. Of course I love them. Retail $13. My cost to keep $7.32.

So ... opinion. Yes, I am sticking with it. I love the surprise items and I feel like I'm getting value. Retail is $40 for the box, but because I kept everything last month, I paid $36. Value was $71.

Wantable Intimate June 2015

Wantable has 5 subscriptions: an Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, Make-up box and their Fitness wear and Style box (try on at home and keep what you want). For the Accessory, Intimate, and Make-up, the cost is $40 the first month and then a 10% discount subsequent months if you keep everything. You can return individual items, though, so it's not a keep all or none sort of thing. When you sign up, you set up a style profile an select things you love, like, and dislike. They will never send something you dislike. Each box is selected for you, so my box will be different from everyone else's box. And, you can return if you want. That's a bonus most boxes don't allow. I chose the Intimates box. Assortment of undergarments, socks, loungewear, etc. Should be 3-4 items per box depending on value of items.

Once again, I was really impressed with shipping speed. My box actually arrived on May 31 ... for June. You gotta' admit, I can use it for June. I was kind of surprised and it did sort of make me smile to see this note in my box. Honestly, I don't know if they send this to everyone, or if it was printed off a printer to look hand-written, but I don't care. It made me feel good. It felt personal. So, what was in the box?
I do love pajamas, so I was sent Pajama Drama Tank wth Lace Trim, Grey. I am always good for a pajama/lounge piece and this will go well with some pants I received in another box a month or so ago. This is really soft and comfortable. Can't go wrong with a tank in my book.Retail $21, My price to keep $13.12

And, I still love pajamas. so the box also included Dreamwave Pajama Drama Ruffle Trim Short and Tank. I saw this in another review and the reviewer thought the cute little side ruffles would be annoying. I don't think so. I think the ruffle is cute and it doesn't bother me at all. I am glad to have short pajamas for the hot, sticky summer months ahead. Retail $14.00 X2, My price to keep $8.75 X2

And, let's not forget that I listed Socks as an item I love on my style profile. And, I really like colors and stripes. I don't get to wear them in my work uniform, but can sneak them in sometimes in scrubs on days I'm not at work. I will never complain about the Ozone UPC Stripe Socks. Retail $15. My price to keep $9.38.
My verdict? I admit I was on the fence about the box at first. Could I really justify $40 ($36 if I keep everything from the month before) for intimates that I don't really "need." But, I've been pleased and will keep going. Yep, I think it's worth it. The value of this shipment was $64 and I paid $36.

Wantable Intimates May 2015

So far, I'm really impressed at how quickly Wantable ships. My collection for May arrived on May 1.

Rene Rolfe Double Fun PJ Pant Dot: I love having pajama pants. I pair them with a tank for lounging and sleeping. These are really soft, which I've noticed from Wantable. I love the bright cute colors. Retail $28. My price to keep $15.14

Pajama Drama Slit Maxi Mint Julep/Noveau: I haven't really worn nightgowns and this isn't one. I slipped into it for a loungey relaxing Saturday afternoon around they house. It fits great and looks amazing. I Perfect for sping and summer days where I want to just hang out at home but not feel like I'm just being a slob. Retail $32. My price to keep $17.30

I was iffy on the Real Underwear Daphne HIpster in Vapor Blue. It's really more of a grey. I was worried that the lace pattern would feel uncomfortable. When I wore it, it felt small at first, and then it disappeared. The fit is great because it is snug enough to prevent riding up. I don't have much sexy underwear but with Wantable, my collection is growing. Retail $14. My price to keep $7.57.

My thoughts? Again, I'm pretty happy with the selection they found for me. Every month, I try to justify the cost of continuing, and every month my expectations are met or exceeded. Retail for this was $74 and I paid $36. I will  use every piece. I am really considering trying their Style box in June. May is already sold out.

Wantable Intimates April 2015

I am impressed at how quickly my April items shipped. I actually received them in MARCH!!! The box had three items, but was really two pajama set. Have I mentioned, I love pajamas? I come home from work and immediately change out of my uniform into soft comfy jammies to lounge in.

Dreamwave Pajama: Pajama Drama Pom Pom Pant Watercolor Map and Pom Pom Tank: Retail $18 each and my price to keep $9.73 each. This pajama set is super soft and I love the whimsy of the pom poms at the ankle and trim of the tank.

Dreamwave Pajama Velvet Insert Boxer Set Deep Rose: Also very soft and comfortable. The velvet detailing is really cute. I love long-sleeve and short combinations.

What do I think? Yes, I love my order. I'm keeping it and receiving $4 credit towards my next purchase.

Want to give any of their subscriptons a try? Let me know how you like it. I think I'm going to give their Style box a trial in June. May is already sold out.

Wantable March 2015

So, I tried the box in January and was unsure about continuing. I really have to justify it to myself because I have been spending a little too much lately.

Wantable has 4 subscriptions: an Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, and their Fitness wear box (try on at home and keep what you want). They also have a new Make-up box.

So, I signed up to try again in March and I will do it a few months to see if I think it's worth keeping. I was sent shipping notice and the package arrived quickly. The items were picked for me based on my profile.

realUnderwear Fusion Tank: This is a black version of the blue tank I received in January. Personally, I don't think you can ever have too many tanks. This is microfiber, which I like. It has a V-neck on one side and Scoop neck on the other, so that's cool. It is very snug and form fitting, so if I don't tuck it in, it does roll up. That I don't like. I'll get good use out of it as a layering piece, though, so I'm keeping it. Retail $32.00. My price to keep $18.55.

Third Love Mesh Bikini: This nude bikini is semi-sheer. I will admit, I have mostly very functional undies and I felt a little daring. Nice, though, they are like second skin. I hate thongs and wearing these, there were no panty lines. Because they run small, Wantable sized up and it was the right decision. Retail $13.00. My price to keep $7.54

Finally MukLuck Slipper Socks: Yes, no doubt, I like them. They are double layered and have grippie bottoms. I am always traipsing around the house wishing I had something warm on my feet. These do the trick. They are cute and comfortable. Retail $24.00. My price to keep $13.91.

Overall, I'm pleased with the selection this month. I kept it all. Next month will be $36 instead of $40. Total retail value was $69. I like everything, it's just a matter of justifying the extra monthly expense at this point. Is it a "want" or a "need?"

wantable intimates January 2015

I had a code for 30% off Wantable and I wanted to give it a try. I have read about their Accessory box (I am not a good accessorizor), their Intimate box, and their Fitness wear box (try on at home and keep what you want). They also have a new Make-up box. For the Accessory, Intimate, and Make-up, the cost is $40 the first month and then a 10% discount subsequent months.
Fusion Tank-S-Polar Bear (real Underwear). Scoop neck on one side in a stretch fabric. Smooth and seamless. It looks pretty small in the picture and it it pretty small. Snug and stretchy. It works well for layering, but I have to tuck it in or it tries to ride up. Retail $42                                                                          Rene Rofe Cami Set (Rene Rofe). Really cute cami and shorts pajama set. Probably (definitely) the nicest short pajamas I own. Really soft. Really comfortable. Fits really well and super cute. Retail $42

So ... my verdict: I really like what I received and the value was there, but I have to decide if I want to keep subscribing. I'm discovering my closet and drawers are quite full and I just don't know if I need the extra expense.
